I was born and raised in Stettler, Alberta with my parents and 3 older siblings. After high school, I attended Red Deer College and graduated with a business diploma. In 1992, I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Education. My first teaching assignment was in Blackfalds and then I taught in Eckville for 12 years before transferring to Terrace Ridge in ‘05. I feel very fortunate to be teaching at this exceptional school!
My wife, Larissa, teaches Grade 6 at the Lacombe Upper Elementary. My daughter, Mikayla is working at Lacombe Ecole Upper Elementary as an EA for one year before resuming her education degree in Edmonton. Karson graduated this year and is attending RDC. Vanessa is in Grade 10. Larissa and I keep very busy with our work and family time. I do, however, try to make time for playing guitar and hockey. I also enjoy that art of photography and have a part-time photography hobby-business.
